Why is it better to buy water with a returnable container?

Returnable bottled water is a more ecological form of consumption since the reuse of containers is encouraged, therefore less waste is generated.

In addition, it is a way of saving because you do not have to pay for glass bottles, since what we consume is the content.

What products can be purchased with returnable packaging?

At LaTiendaVichy we offer natural mineral water and carbonated mineral water in glass bottles with returnable containers, in measures of 1 liter, 0.5 liters and 0.25 liters.

How does the returnable packaging system work?

The returnable container system is based on repeat purchases: with your first order, a charge will be applied as a deposit for the box and containers; that will be returned in the case of stopping consuming said product.

When making the first purchase of a product with returnable packaging, you must request the "First purchase: without return of box and packaging" option. And in the following orders, selecting the option "With return of box and packaging" of the desired product, only the amount of the liquid will be charged. With this second option, you must return as many boxes with empty containers as you have requested.

How do I order water in a returnable container?

You must order as many units in the "First purchase: without return of box or packaging" format as you wish to have stored at home. Then you can order the ones you are consuming in the "With return of box and packaging" format. From LaTiendaVichy we recommend that you have an extra box to avoid running out of water between orders.

For example, if your usual consumption is 4 boxes per month, ideally you should have 5 boxes in deposit. So when you have 4 empty boxes, you can place a new order for 4 more boxes, but you will not run out of water because you will have the 5th reserve box.

Remember that you must give the service manager as many empty boxes as he gives you full ones. Continuing with the previous example, if you ask for 4 boxes of water, you must deliver 4 boxes of empty containers.

What happens if I return fewer boxes than I indicated I would return?

In the event that you do not return the same number of boxes that you indicated you would return (by selecting the "With return of boxes and containers" format), you will have an outstanding amount with LaTiendaVichy.

If you do not regularize your situation in the next order, returning the extra boxes that were pending; we will be forced to claim the amount corresponding to the deposit of the boxes of containers that you have not returned.

For this reason, we recommend that you always have a reserve box at home, to cover consumption between the time you run out of water and receive the next order.

How much is the returnable container deposit?

What happens if a returnable bottle breaks?

In case of not returning any of the returnable containers, the amount corresponding to that container will be deducted. The cost of the box and packaging is broken down for each product.

How do I return returnable containers?

To return empty containers, there are two options:

If you want to repeat your last order, select the option "With return of box and packaging". When the manager delivers your new order, you must deliver the empty containers from the previous one.

Where can you buy products with returnable packaging?

For logistical reasons, products with returnable packaging can only be served in our route areas, since in this way it is our service managers who deliver and collect the product.

In the areas where we operate with a courier service, the cost of sending and returning the containers does not compensate for the cost savings, since the client would have to pay for transport twice (round trip).
